Our story

We have started Amathous Farms because of our love for real artisan products. Nowadays all of the businesses are focused on reducing the price of goods by cutting shortcuts and lowering the quality. At Amathous Farms we have spent the last few months traveling around Cyprus and Greece to bring you the best of the best. Each product has a story, it has a journey and real people behind it. We cannot guarantee you that each product will taste the same the next time because they are influence by nature and our producers. We our proud to have created a partnership with these local legends and are in a position to share them with you.

Panayiotis and his sister Maria are second generation honey makers. They are so passionate about producing the finest quality of honey that 250 days a year they spent it in nature travelling around Greece with their bee hives and the result is magnificent.

Real fermented bread

We are proud to introduce you to Nicolas, an artisan baker that bakes a French/cypriot style sourdough bread like in the old times in the village of 'Treis Elies'. Nicolas bakes with his own wild yeast (rye sourdough) and spends 8 hours folding and fermenting the loaves. Then he fires up the old stone oven to bake the loaves to crispy perfection. His sourdough bread is not just healthy due to the slow fermentation it's delicious.

Rarest varieties of honey
